PGO In Association with IT Corridor Hostel Association Successfully Organised Event to Save Electricity

Paying Guest Online (PGO), India's largest online accommodation for PG Hostel stays successfully initiated an event on 29th of April 2023. The event was organized in association with the IT corridor hostels association in Hyderabad and was attended by more than 200+ hosts from all over the city.

The event was first of its kind in entire India where all reputed electric meter companies like HPL, Elmeasure, Radius Xenius appeared together under one roof presenting their products to 200+ Hosts who have 4000+ hostels.

The main motive behind this event was to educate the hostel owners about the benefits of using energy efficient meters and to install them so as to save electricity for their own use as well as for social responsibility.

PGO CEO Hari Krishna exhorted the new motto to Digitize, modernize and promote this to all PG Hostels in India- which has been incorporated in all PGO listed and verified hostels.

The main focus of the event was to promote usage of digital meters as well as "energy saving measures" which will not only help in saving money but also in reducing wastage of electricity due to overloading and other un-necessary reasons.

The first step towards modernizing hostels to "Safe and Hygiene" is by digitizing them. By digitizing, we mean installing energy efficient meters that will directly help in reducing wastage of electricity, thereby indirectly saving money too!

It's not just about paying for electricity usage but also about being social responsible towards our environment by using energy efficient products that helps in reducing wastage of electricity due to overloading and other unnecessary reasons.

Speaking to media, IT Corridor General Secretary Sri Karunakar said, "This event seems to the biggest, most comprehensive and vibrant event in Hospitality industry. Special congratulations to PGO team for turning up the event and all the companies who presented and cleared the doubts." He thanked everyone for attending and making the event a very successful one.

The event was a grand success and PGO CEO Hari Krishna thanked IT Corridor Hostels Association President Amarnath, Treasurer Mahidhar, Electric Meters Company representatives Rajasekhar, Sumit, Nitin, Rahul, Sridhar and the team of PGO for making it the biggest Hostel Host event till date!
